Why Take This Course?
In a world where it seems like everything’s digital, it’s refreshing to step away from the keyboard and create with your hands. That’s exactly what your team will do when we visit SVC’s offshoot nonprofit, Partners in Print, for a session of poster printing, collaboration, and fun. Working with vintage wood type, linoleum print blocks, and Vandercook presses — the star technology of another era — each member of the team will design and print a limited run of letterpress posters. At the same time your people are turning out beautiful, hand-crafted posters, they’ll also be creating some new connections to their teammates through collaborating on their designs. So, while every SVC workshop builds skills, this one also builds teamwork.

Who Should Take This Class?
This workshop is for anyone and everyone. No prior letterpress or design experience is needed.
