Why Take This Course?
There’s probably no more overused word in the business of design, marketing, and communications. That “strategy” word gets thrown around to describe everything from a master plan to a modest execution. What it should mean is “a plan of attack for making something happen.” That “thing” could be clicks on a web link, online sales, or simply beginning to change someone’s mind. Regardless, every strategy should be based on legitimate knowledge of the audience and a logical path to encourage a desired behavior. Anything other than that is usually no more than a non-nutritious word salad. Getting some clarity around “strategy” and how to come up with a successful one is a great idea. In fact, from a business perspective, it’s a great strategy.
