There's usually quite a bit going on around SVC, but we'd be happy to share events from the rest of the design, ad, and marketing world. Let us know about your shindig and we'll mention it here. Meanwhile, if you have questions about any of these upcoming happenings, you can drop us a line, too.

Put this one on your calendar for May 16-17:
As america’s longest running street fair, this annual celebration of the U-District community and culture is as colorful and creative as the artist on display. Featuring crafts, music, art and food, this weekend-long neighborhood party has been the best way to kick-off the Summer for 46 years and counting.

The Seattle Student Design Exchange (SSDX) is AIGA Seattle’s first 360° experience for student and emerging designers. Enjoy a full week of panel discussions, workshops, studio talks, portfolio reviews and an epic after party.
This weeklong exchange takes place from Friday, April 17th to Saturday, April 25th.
Included with your pass, is access to all events and one of four studio talks and one of four workshops. Live outside the local area? Worry not, SSDX is not exclusive to the PNW and anyone from the student and emerging designer community who wishes to attend, should do so.

Emails from SVC are fun, informative, and use up barely any pixels. Not only will they make you feel like you have a devoted, chatty friend, you’ll also learn about free talks, special events, and reminders about classes that are beginning soon. Want to join in the fun? To opt in, sign up here. Turnabout is fair play, after all.
We won’t abuse this service, so you’ll only hear from us about once or twice a month.
